TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Fire officials in Turners Falls have reported multiple incidents recently of used motor oil being left out in parking lots, creating potential fire and health hazards. Motor oil is combustible if exposed to high temperatures, and can increase the severity of a potential fire. Both transfer stations and many businesses where oil is purchased, will accept used motor oil.
