WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A second accident has occurred in as many days at the Christian Lane bridge in Whately. Thursday morning just before 7:30 a.m. a box truck collided with the bridge barriers, the same place a passenger vehicle made impact Wednesday morning.
The Whately Fire Department is urging all travelers to use caution this season as solar glare and fog may impact visibility on the roads, creating an added danger to the back to school season.
No injuries were reported in either today’s or yesterday’s accidents.
