ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — According to the Orange Police Department, their K9 Zeus will be receiving a bullet and stab protective vest through a donation from a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing lifesaving gear to dogs within law enforcement and similar agencies across the country.
The organization, Vested Interest, has donated over 6,225 vests worth nearly $7 million with funding from both private and corporate donations. The vests are made in the United States and National Institute of Justice certified.
