ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The North Main Street Project in Orange is in full swing. The contractor, Onyx Corp, is currently working on the retaining walls and drainage for North Main Street.
In the coming weeks, the fire hydrants will be moved and later, in November, National Grid will be moving utility poles.
Full depth reclamation of the road is not expected to begin until the spring of 2026. In the summer of 2026, direct culvert work will begin.
The town has issued a reminder that the tours are currently in effect, for school buses as well, and will remain in place until the project pauses for the winter.
