ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Less than a month ago, Athol’s former Silver Lake School was purchased by a developer from Lunenburg, Mass in Worcester County with plans to turn the school into a dozen apartments. Work has already begun on the project and it is expected to be ready for occupancy in approximately six months.
