TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Kane Hodder, best known for playing Jason Voorhees, will be at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls for a special screening of the horror classic Friday the 13th Part 7 on October 13th. Nightmare Screenings combines modern classic horror films with live celebrity Q&As, meet-and-greet opportunities, themed drinks, merchandise, giveaways, and interactive fan experiences designed to celebrate horror culture in a fun, community-driven atmosphere.

TURNERS FALLS, MA — Nightmare Screenings, founded by Ghost Hunters’ star Steve Gonsalves and National Bestselling Author and founder of Dark Ink Books, Michael Aloisi, officially launches on October 13, 2026, with a special screening of the horror classic Friday the 13th Part 7, featuring an in-person appearance by horror legend, Kane Hodder, best known for playing Jason Voorhees.

The event will take place at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls and promises an immersive night for horror fans throughout Franklin County and beyond.
More than just a movie screening, Nightmare Screenings combines modern classic horror films with live celebrity Q&As, meet-and-greet opportunities, themed drinks, merchandise, giveaways, and interactive fan experiences designed to celebrate horror culture in a fun, community-driven atmosphere.
“As lifelong horror lovers, we wanted to create something special for horror fans here in New England,” said the founders of Nightmare Screenings.

“There is a real passion for horror movies in this area, and we’re excited to bring these immersive events to local theaters and communities.”
