JingleFest returns to downtown Greenfield this December

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The city of Greenfield will be hosting JingleFest again on December 5th and 6th in downtown Greenfield. There will be visits with Santa, horse drawn wagon rides, live music and dance performances, markets, and more. Many attractions are free or low-cost, ensuring accessibility for the whole community.

Greenfield Announces JingleFest 2025: A Season to Sparkle, a City to Celebrate

The City of Greenfield is thrilled to announce JingleFest 2025, a festive community celebration taking place on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6, in downtown Greenfield. The event promises two days of holiday magic with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, local shopping, and surprises around every corner.

“JingleFest brings together residents, visitors, businesses, and community organizations to kick off the season with joy, creativity, and holiday spirit,” said Mayor Virgina Desorgher. “I’m excited for our community to come together to celebrate and support our local businesses this holiday season.”

Attendees can look forward to:

Tree lighting & community caroling

Visits and photos with Santa and other merry guests

Makers Market, Farmer’s Market, and Creative Kids Market

Horse drawn wagon rides on Main Street

Live musical and dance performances

Cookie decorating, wreath decorating, and Bows & Branches Workshops

“JingleFest will bring the kind of holiday cheer you just can’t wrap: shop windows glowing, streets filled with smiles and laughter, and families discovering little magical moments all weekend long,” said Christy Moore, City of Greenfield Recreation Department Director. “Our elves have been planning and plotting for weeks, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”

JingleFest encourages families and friends to explore downtown, support local businesses, and join in themed activities, games, crafts, and seasonal experiences. Many attractions are free or low-cost, ensuring accessibility for the whole community.
