Greenfield Rec to host ‘Putt for a Purpose’

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Recreation Department is preparing for this year’s fireworks with an indoor mini golf fundraiser. Next Friday and Saturday the Sanderson Street municipal offices will host a one-of-a-kind mini golf course and proceeds from the event will directly benefit the annual Greenfield fireworks.

Putt for a Purpose: Greenfield Recreation Department to Hold Mini-Golf Fireworks Fundraiser

GREENFIELD, MA — Tee off for a great cause! The Greenfield Recreation Department is excited to host an Indoor Mini Golf Fundraiser to support this year’s community fireworks celebration.

On Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, the municipal offices at 20 Sanderson Street will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind mini-golf course, featuring creative holes with fun challenges sponsored by local businesses. The event offers an exciting experience for participants of all ages.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the annual Greenfield Fireworks, helping ensure a safe, spectacular, and memorable show for the entire community.

“This event is a fun and unique way to bring people together while supporting a tradition that means so much to our community,” said Christy Moore, Greenfield Recreation Department Director. “Every putt helps us get closer to lighting up the sky!”

Event details:
• April 3 starting at 5:30 PM, last entry at 8:45 PM
• April 4 starting at 10 AM, last entry at 3:45 PM
• Cost: $5 per person per round, payable at the door; children ages 3 and under play for free
• A food truck will be on site
