GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Residents of the Weldon in Greenfield may soon have access to Greenfield Community Energy and Technology’s internet services.
GCET has received a nearly $500,000 grant from the Massachusetts Broadband Institute’s Residential Retrofit Program and will be using it to install fiber optics in the 105 units and public spaces in the building.
John Lunt, General Manager at GCET said the installation project may take approximately two to three years.
