Community Design Workshop for Farren site coming Tuesday

MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Town of Montague is hosting a Community Design Workshop to discuss the architectural and site design for the future of the Farren Hospital Site and how the design guidelines can complement the recently adopted Design Overlay District for the Mixed-Use Village Center. The public workshop will take place on Tuesday, March 31st from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Shea Theater Arts Center on Avenue A in Turners Falls.

Community Design Workshop Invitation – Join Us March 31st to Shape the Future of the Farren
Hospital Site and Surrounding Areas

Montague, MA – Join us on March 31 for an interactive community design workshop! We will discuss architectural and site design, and how the design guidelines can complement the recently adopted Design Overlay District for the Mixed-Use Village Center, including parcels on Masonic Ave, Rod Shop
Road, and parcels on Montague City Road to the north and south of the Farren site.

Meeting details:
• Date/Time: Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM (doors open at 5:30 PM)
• Location: Shea Theater Arts Center, 71 Avenue A, Turners Falls

Light refreshments will be served. Montague Community Television (MCTV) will record the event.
