PITTSFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Governor Healey announced yesterday that universal broadband coverage will be coming to Massachusetts after the state secured $18.8 million in federal funding.
The funds from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration’s Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Program will support expanding broadband to 251 communities.
