GILL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Turners Falls Fire crews teamed up with the Gill Fire Department to retrieve a disabled boat on the Connecticut River Tuesday morning.
According to the Turners Falls Fire Department, the boat and the occupants aboard made it safely to shore. They were towed from an area near the French King Bridge back to the Gill boat ramp.
Crews stayed to assist the boat’s owner in removing it from the water and loading it onto a trailer.
