BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — $6.8 billion in education funding had been frozen the day before it was expected, earlier this summer. $107 million of that funding was set to come to Massachusetts schools.
Just after that announcement at the end of June, Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration and was able to get a portion of the funds released.
Now, AG Campbell has secured an agreement with the Trump Administration to make the rest of the funds available by October 3rd.
