(Greenfield, MA) — The town of Greenfield has taken another step toward building its first-ever parking garage. The Greenfield Town Council has approved ten million dollars in borrowing authority to construct the new Olive Street garage, which the mayor hopes to finance through a combination of state and federal grants. The structure is expected to provide additional parking to accommodate the new Franklin County Courthouse currently under construction and the nearby John W. Olver Transportation Center.
