Música Franklin is thrilled to announce the 8th Annual Fun Fest on Saturday, May 30th, from 1-5pm, now taking place inside at Greenfield Middle School. Fun Fest is a free all-ages festival with live music, crafts, activities, and more!

This year, Fun Fest will feature a vibrant line-up of performers including The Lost Tribe, John Hughes & Stephen Katz, and Música Franklin students. The day will also showcase a lively parade and performance by the Expandable Brass Band and strolling mime performances by My My Mime. Attendees are invited to enjoy world-class performances while shopping local craft vendors, trying out a musical instrument at our “instrument petting zoo,” and grabbing a bite from Stone Soup Cafe. Artspace Greenfield will host a hands-on arts-and-crafts activity, and local nonprofit organizations will share information about their work in the community. Fun Fest offers engaging activities for all ages, including opportunities for children to experiment with how sound changes in water, have their faces painted, and play with giant bubbles. This free community event promises a day of creativity, discovery, and music for all!

Música Franklin is a free after-school music and social justice program for students in grades K-12 in Franklin County. Fun Fest is funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies. Fun Fest is funded in part by grants from the Montague and Gill Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Fun Fest is also made possible by the generous support of Mass Cultural Council, National Endowment for the Arts, RiverCulture, Greenfield Savings Bank, Greenfield Cooperative Bank, Franklin First Federal Credit Union, Paul Redeker Rental Company, Freedom Credit Union, PV Squared, Franklin County Community Development Corporation, and Artspace.
