Gas n’ Go Summer Rules


GAS N’ GO SUMMER OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES – 2026

These are the rules governing the “Gas n’ Go Summer” giveaway on radio stations WHAI, WPVQ, EZ 107.5, Pure Oldies 100.5 and 92.3 The Outlaw.  The grand prize is $2000 worth of gasoline, in the form of gas cards from a local gas station.  This contest runs from July 16th, 2026 through August 24th, 2026.  This contest is running simultaneously on radio stations WHAI, WPVQ, EZ 107.5, Pure Oldies 100.5 and 92.3 The Outlaw.  Listeners from all five stations are competing for one grand prize.

  1. No purchase necessary to enter.
  2. To be eligible to win the prize, you must first become one of the 60 “qualifiers” who will be entered into a grand prize drawing to be held on August 24th, 2026.
  3. Between July 16th, 2026 and August 23rd, 2026 the radio stations will make 6 weekly appearances at participating sponsors. During those appearances, which will be promoted ahead of time on the air and listed at bear953.com, www.whai.com, www.ez1075.com, www.pureoldiesgreenfield.com and www.outlaw923.com, listeners can enter their name in a registration box. At the end of each appearance, 10 names will be randomly drawn from the registration box, and those names will become qualifiers.  Listeners may only qualify once during the duration of the contest.  Only one entry per person is allowed at each sign-up location.  Multiple entries from a single person at any one location will be removed from the drawing.
  4. Grand prize winner will be determined by a random drawing of the 60 qualifiers on August 24th, 2026.  The qualifier need not be listening to win.  Winner will be notified by phone and will be required to pick up the prize at the WHAI/WPVQ studios in Greenfield on a weekday between 8am and 5pm.  Prize will be available for pick up on August 24th, 2026.
  5. Winner is responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. Winner must fill out the appropriate tax forms at the WHAI/WPVQ studios and provide a valid photo ID before receiving the prize.
  6. Prize awarded is not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner.

 

  1. WHAI/WPVQ/EZ/Outlaw/Pure Oldies contests are open to all eligible Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Vermont residents 18 years or older that have not won anything on WHAI or WPVQ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner.  Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
  2. Employees of WHAI/WPVQ/EZ 107.5/The Outlaw/Pure Oldies, Saga Communications of New England, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WHAI/WPVQ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
  3. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
  4. WHAI/WPVQ/EZ 107.5/The Outlaw/Pure Oldies, Saga Communications of New England, Inc., its parent corporation, Saga Communications, Inc., their agencies, employees, and representatives absolve themselves and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from the “Gas n’ Go Summer” contest or the prize awarded in said contest.
  5. Entrants must meet other legal requirements detailed in the official rules, to grant permission to use entrant’s name and likeness without compensation and to sign a release. This contest is subject to federal, state and local laws.  All of WHAI/WPVQ/EZ 107.5/The Outlaw/Pure Oldies general contest rules posted on the station web sites also apply to this promotion. WHAI/WPVQ/EZ 107.5/The Outlaw reserves the right in its sole discretion to supplement or make changes to the rules of any contest at any time without notice and reserves the right to interpret the rules of any contest, and such interpretation shall be binding upon all participants.
