THAT was quick

Didn’t take any crap about the yankees bats going to sleep against the Tigers and NY being swept in 4 in the ALCS. It was kinda a moral victory as, at least, the “Bombers” made it past the 1st round for once! Anyway, new, young friend, Nick, a converted red Sox fan (to the O’s only so he’d have SOMEONE to root for in the playoffs against the Ynbaks) was even kind to me saying, “Mr Jay, you’re lucky. You only had to endure a 4 game collapse. I had to go thru a whole season. BUT, chin up, all. I believe we’ll see wholesale changes for both teams. Whether they each improve is one of the great mysteries of the greatest game.
