Yeah, when Roger Maris hit 61 homeruns in 1961, the Commissioner at the time, Ford Frick, who had  been great friends with (and a ghostwriter for) Babe Ruth suggested an asterik next to the record because blah, blah, blah.

I just saw a picture of the actress Cybil Sheperd whom I have always had great (physical) admiration for. She is STILL quite beautiful (he said in an admittedly chauvinistic way) and is now 61, and if anyone deserves an “asterik” next to “61″ then it is certainly her because she sure don’t look 61.
