Art Journaling with re-purposed materials

Wednesday, November 12th 2014 - 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
at Greenfield Public Library
402 Main St.

Join local artist Marilyn Hartman on Wednesday, November 12 from 6-7:30pm for an introduction to starting your own Art Journal.  This program is for anyone who has any interest in telling their own story without feeling limited to words or for anyone who has an interest in playing with a new-to-them medium for self expression.  Marilyn will show some samples of her work, describe the process she goes through, and will then be available to answer questions as we work on our own pages using a selection of paints, pencils, inks, glues, and recycled objects.

Please bring a blank journal, re-purposed of course, or a book that you would like to re-purpose.  It can have lined, blank, or gridded pages, be partially or fully written in.  If you do not have something you consider appropriate, there will be a selection of items for you to choose from to use as your base.

As space is limited, please register either at the front desk or by calling 413-772-1544.  This is an adult craft program.

This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library.
