The Bernardston Council on Aging will be presenting the last in their 4 session series on caregivers dealing with dementia and Alzheimer’s. This free event is at the Bernardston Senior Center starting at 4:30 PM on Wednesday September 16th and followed by a light supper. Benefit Golf Tournament

DIAL/Self Youth and Community Services hosts a benefit golf tournament Saturday September 19 from 9 am to 2:30 PM at Thomas memorial Golf Course in Turners Falls. 4 Person Team Scramble, 9 AM Shotgun start. $65 per golfer/cart. QuarterMania Fundraiser

Vendors & crafters set up at 5pm, doors open at 6pm and event starts promptly at 7pm. Each month, the first 10-20 in the door get an extra something FREE. Sometimes, entry is FREE with a donation.

Come and place quarter bids on items provided by artists and vendors. Items valued 0-20$, you place a quarter bid. For an item valued between twenty one and thirty dollars, you place a fifty cent bid. For items valued between thirty one and forty dollars, the bid is seventy five cents. Items valued at over forty dollars, you place a one dollar bid.

If you place a bid and your paddle is in the air, your number is chosen, you WIN!!!

5$ entry fee (includes one paddle) additional paddles are 1$!

Additional drawings and bonuses are awarded – So, bring your friends! First 10 guests receive a 5 bonus chances to win!

DON’T FORGET YOUR QUARTERS!!!

KEEP SMILING’S 1st ANNUAL MOTORCYLE RIDE FOR LIFE -RELAY FOR LIFE FUNDRAISER

Saturday, September 26th 2015 - All Day at Millers Falls Rod and Gun

Come join us for our 1st ever Ride for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.  This will be an hour or so long escorted ride through beautiful Eastern Franklin County.  The ride will begin and end at the Millers Falls Rod & Gun Club.

There will be a chicken BBQ following the ride as well as live music.  We will also have some awesome drawings and door prizes.

You don’t need to ride a motorcycle to enjoy this event, just come for the BBQ, live music and fun.

Registration starts at 10:00 AM and we hope to have kickstands up by 11:00.  Chicken BBQ starts at 1:00 and the live music will run from 1:00-4:00pm.

This event goes on rain or shine.

For only $25 per person, you can join in on the fun and help find a cure for cancer at the same time.
